“Inter-Tec aims to deliver innovative design, analysis and certification solutions to our customers.
We strive to deliver the highest standards of expertise by delivering a service that demonstrates our unique breadth of technical skills and our proactive, communicative and accessible approach.
We look to build sustainable relationships which add value to our business and ultimately, our customers.“
Through the last 17 years, Inter-Tec Services Limited has grown from a one-person consultancy working with UK-based customers to our current position as a leading design, analysis, certification, problem- solving and training specialist serving aerospace clients around the world.
Established in 1997 by Managing Director, Fred Gorrie, we have seen our customer base and work load grow steadily within the aircraft and rotorcraft sectors, worldwide.
This has allowed us to expand the business to meet the ever growing expectations of our customers where our highly experienced and skilled technical team consistently rises to our customers’ challenges to produce exacting and quality results across an extensive range of aircraft and helicopter platforms.
In 2005, we gained AS/EN9100 Approval which was up scaled in 2013 to Revision C, making us one of the first consultancies in the UK to achieve this. Building on this, we enhanced our service offering in 2012 by gaining EASA Part 21 Subpart J Design Organisation Approval for Modifications and Repairs on aircraft and helicopter types, which catapulted our position within the global market.
Due to our increasing presence in the Middle East, we added the GCAA Design Organisation Approval in 2013, to serve our customers in the UAE.
These have all resulted in continuous development of our business and in 2013, we moved to our current location at the Prestwick International Aerospace Park within the aerospace hub centred around the Glasgow - Prestwick International Airport.
We believe that we are ideally positioned, within the ever changing global economy, with our engineering skill- set and facilities to effectively identify and react to new opportunities in the UK, European and global market.
