Exploring the Middle East market
Fred Gorrie will visit Dubai on 20th to 25th January, mainly to attend the MRO Middle East
Exhibition but also to meet up with a number of businesses we are
currently in dialogue with. This will be the first business visit to the
area since our Part 21J Design Organisation Approval (DOA) achievement.
We are delighted to be going, with our first small project already secured in the region, in collaboration
with our POA production partner, Aeropair, who have been operating from
their Dubai base since the beginning of 2012, in addition to their main
facility in Glasgow, Scotland.
Our main objectives for this visit is to make the market in UAE and
Middle East aware of Inter-Tec and our capabilities as well as to start
dialogue with interested parties to address any future opportunities which we can support or collaborate on.
It is very much our intention to undertake regular business trips to
the Middle East, centred on UAE, and to work towards a full-time Inter-Tec presence to support sector growth in the area.
If you would like to meet during this trip, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Latest update - Part 21J DOA
We continue to work on and complete modifications on a number of aircraft types, and look forward to welcoming the EASA audit team to Inter-Tec in March / April.
Our system is developing well, all our staff members are familiar with the DOA system, and now trained in Part 21J and the fundamental principles of certification and relevant EASA regulations.
Our larger customers are very supportive of our position and keen to reap the benefits of our one-stop offering.
Presenting at Aer Xchange, Singapore
Following a successful trip to Singapore last November, a follow-on
visit has been planned for the end of February, where Fred Gorrie will
attend the Aer Xchange event and present our capabilities, and our journey as a business to this point, within the Technical Seminar programme.
More details of this trip will be given in our next Newsletter in early February.
Plans for 2013
To support our objectives of consolidating and continuing to develop our Part 21J DOA capability
and gain more customers, both in the UK and in export markets, we will
be visiting several important events through the year, and following-up
with a number of further visits to the Middle East and SE Asia. (see diary)
As always, we will be sure to keep you updated on all our trips and look forward to meeting you in 2013!
