Presenting at AeroXchange, Singapore
Following the successful trip to Singapore last November, Fred Gorrie will attend and has been invited to speak at the Technical Seminar programme at AeroXchange.
The event provides a great platform for aerospace suppliers to showcase
their products and services and to discuss business opportunities with
like-minded key people and companies. Fred’s presentation entitled “Inter-Tec – our Design Organisation and Commitment”
will outline our capabilities as an EASA approved design organisation,
what we can offer and our remarkable journey as a business to this
AeroXchange is a tremendous opportunity to meet your target market and generally network with many of the region’s most influential decision makers.
A series of highly focused Conference sessions are scheduled with key
people from the region participating in them. We are very much looking
forward to visiting and speaking at the event. We would encourage
everyone with an interest in Singapore and S.E.Asia to attend.
Our plans for Singapore and S.E.Asia
Following our initial drive into the market in Singapore and South East
Asia, a number of exciting initiatives are now underway:
We are working on bids to provide design and certification support on
Airbus Interiors modifications with two companies in Singapore
We have begun dialogue with several other businesses and organisations in Singapore and the surrounding region
We are holding dialogue with Glasgow University in Scotland, who are
delivering their aerospace and mechanical engineering courses in
Singapore in partnership with SIT; and would look to engage with a
number of candidates from Singapore this summer whilst they are in
Although this is a great beginning for Inter-Tec’s involvement in the region, we are keen to initiate further relationships to ensure that we continue to make in-roads in this fast moving area. Fred Gorrie will be in Singapore for the whole week, starting 25th Feb.
He will be looking to meet again with existing contacts in Singapore,
and would very much welcome a call or email from anyone attending
AeroXchange or indeed who will be in Singapore that week. If you would like to meet during this trip, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Exploring the Middle East market
Fred Gorrie had a most productive week in UAE on 20 - 25 January, based
mainly in Dubai to attend the MRO Middle East Exhibition.
The objectives for the week were to discuss existing projects and opportunities, to make many more companies in UAE and Middle East aware of our capabilities and approvals, and to gain further knowledge on the MRO engineering services support landscape in the region. All objectives were met, and we look forward to building our level of presence in UAE throughout this year and working towards a full-time Inter-Tec presence in the region in the next 2 years to support sector growth.
Our first project is already underway
in the region, in collaboration with our POA production partner,
Aeropair, who have been operating from their Dubai base since the
beginning of 2012, in addition to their main facility in Glasgow,
Plans for 2013
Our plans for 2013 are now well underway, with the first key event now
behind us. We are now preparing for future trips, and for Aircraft
Purchasing & Maintenance in London where we will be exhibiting for
the first time.
As always, we will be sure you keep you updated on all our trips and look forward to meeting you in 2013!
